Educational Qualifications:
Controller of Examinations & Inspector of Colleges ->
Essential -
(1) Uniformly good academic record with a Master's degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
(2) At least 15 years' of experience as Sr.Lecturer/Reader/Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000/- and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration in Academic Institutions like University, or in an institute of higher learning of which 5 years must be in a University or in an Institute of Post Graduate Study OR Comparable experience in research establishments and other institutions of higher learning OR 15 years' administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent post.
Desirable -
(1) A Doctorate degree or published Research work of merit OR
(2) High level of Administrative Experience in a Govt. or Quasi Govt. Organization or a good background in administration and management in senior position.
(3) For the post of Controller of Examinations it is essential to have experience in conduction of examinations either in Institution of higher learning or in Service Commissions.
(4) For the post of Inspector of Colleges, it will be essential to have experience in administration of colleges desirably in a position not less than that of a Principal of a College.
Development & Planning Officer ->
Essential -
(1) Uniformly good academic record with a Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
(2) At least 10 years' experience in a position involving supervision, control and planning of administration of Colleges, Universities/Institutes of Higher Learning or Government or Quasi Government Organisation.
Desirable -
(1) A Doctorate degree or published work of high standard
(2) Experience of at least seven years in University or in Post Graduate Research Organisation as Assistant Registrar or equivalent post. In that case, records of performance will be examined.

Educational Qualifications:
Professor ->
(1) An eminent scholar with a Ph.D degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline with a number of high quality research
publications in reputed journals and / or publication of books.
(2) At least 10 years' experience in University/ College and / or experience in research in University/ reputed research Institutions/ Industries.
(3) Research guidance of doctoral students.
Associate Professor ->
(1) Good academic record with a Ph D degree in any subject.
(2) A Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed),
(3) At least a second class Bachelor's Degree with Honours/Major in the relevant/allied subject, (4) A minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or reputed research Institution/Industry with a number of good quality publication in reputed journals and/or publication of books.
Assistant professor ->
(1) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree level in relevant subject.
(2) At least a second class Bachelor's Degree with Honours/Major in the relevant/allied subject, (3) The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC like NET/SLET.
(4) The candidates who are, or have been awarded Ph D degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph D Degree) Regulations 2009 shall be exempted in the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
